The collection (Poems Outside the Law) issued by Noufel Publishing House is by the contemporary Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani, who is classified as a romantic poet, from an ethnic Damascene family. He studied law and joined the diplomatic corps. He has many collections and works in Arabic poetry. He was known for his love and romantic flirtation with women in his poems, and he devoted a large space of his poetry to them. He went through many tragedies and sorrows in his life, and paidgreat attention to political poetry at the end of his life, and devoted his poems to Damascus and Beirut. This collection was published in 1972 and included many beautiful poems with different topics, some of which had a social character and some of which were national. He gained fame and wide popular success.
