Explanation of the book
In this work, the author starts from the claim that Sibawayh's grammatical view is based on the theological principles of Mu'tazilite thought, which prompted the writer to gather all possible levels of evidence to defend this claim, attempting in the same analytical framework to defend the fundamentalism of Arabic grammar and its roots in Arab-Islamic culture. He assumed that every science, whatever it may be, includes a degree of philosophizing, not on the basis that philosophy undertakes to examine its methods and results as the philosophy of science does, but rather on the basis that every science has its own philosophical vision, and this vision is a set of values, perceptions, and beliefs upon which some of its axioms are built.
