Explanation of the book
This book consists of an introduction by Youssef Salama and four chapters. The first, entitled The Historical Roots of the Logic of Fuzziness, is concerned with revealing the elements of fuzziness in some fields of knowledge, philosophical or scientific, which played a role in the birth of this logic. Some of these elements appeared in Taoism and Buddhism. In Aristotelian philosophy, the possibility statement is the first attempt to raise the problem of dual truth values, without much success
