Everything included in this book is based on understanding religion as an existential need that protects man from metaphysical alienation. It is founded on a definition of religion as life within the horizon of meaning, imposed by man’s existential need to produce spiritual, moral and aesthetic meaning for his individual and societal life. Most of our problems lie in the expansion and expansion of this need and its squandering of other needs, and its swallowing up of everything in people’s lives in our societies. Many of the problems of the Islamic world are due to the failure to recognize the true field of religion, the limits of its mission in human life, and the resulting dominance of religion over other fields of life, the disruption of the function of reason, science and knowledge, and the neglect of the value of the accumulation of human experience and its impact on construction and development. God has not given any special right to anyone to monopolize His representation on earth, and He alone is the exclusive authority to speak in His name, and is permitted to persecute people in the name of God, violate their dignity, and waste their rights and freedoms, in the name of defending God, “For God is independent of the worlds,” and God created people free.
