Suspicions of the present time

The author is indeed anticipating the features of a completely new era. To this end, he did not limit himself to addressing the political, economic and psychological frameworks, as was his custom in previous books, but also sought to marshal a set of philosophical concepts and scientific ideas, in an attempt to investigate the global issue in general, and the European issue in particular, from all its aspects. From this standpoint, Gustave Le Bon looked at the existing alliances with a critical view, studied the structure of revolutions with an accurate and comprehensive objective study, and revealed the change in the mentality of the rulers, not to mention his discussion of the destruction caused by the war on the material and intellectual levels, and the ways to confront the devastation it left behind.
