It is a critical book that embodies one of the most famous literary battles that took place between Al-Rafi'i and Al-Akkad. It was written during a period marked by the intensification of intellectual and literary conflicts, which in turn enriched intellectual and cultural life in Egypt and the Arab world. Critics have pointed out the reasons that prompted him to publish these articles. Including that he wanted to liberate criticism from the bondage of persons. Through these articles, Al-Rafi’i sought revenge for his person, and for his book The Miracle of the Qur’an, in which Al-Aqqad shot him with the arrow of plagiarism from Saad Zaghloul’s book.
