Al-Masakeen is a prose book whose images were formulated from the pain of the human soul in a narrative image that the writer tells us through the tongue of Sheikh Ali, Sheikh of Al-Masakeen, who tells the tragedy of poverty and human need in a range of stories that carry many religious and social lessons and sermons. In this book, Al-Rafi'i presents the philosophy of poverty, the details of which he formulates using the tools of literary rhetoric that we are familiar with from him. Because he is the creator who looks at the tragedy of poverty with the gaze of a philosopher and a writer who transforms the tragedy of reality into a rhetorical image that transforms poverty into creative energy, placing poverty on pages of philosophical wisdom and literary rhetoric.
