Kafka influenced many international writers, including the contemporary German writer Martin Wallers, whose doctoral thesis was “The Narrative Form in Franz Kafka.” His narrative attempts at that stage were greatly influenced by Kafka’s style, and he says explicitly about that, “My literary destiny was decided by reading Kafka’s works.” Saramago, the Nobel Prize winner, admired Kafka and said that he was his own writer and one of the greatest writers in the history of literature, while the Japanese writer and his future writings indicate
