Tafsir al-Jalalayn is considered one of the most important books of interpretation for the study of the Holy Qur’an. It was composed by Jalal al-Din al-Muhalli (died 864 AH / 1459 CE) and his student Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (died 911 AH / 1505 CE), who were both called the Two Majesties. Tafsir al-Jalalayn is considered one of the easiest to read due to its simplified style and length in one volume
