This book, which Farzat originally presented as a university thesis for graduation at the Syrian University, was published in 1955 in Damascus. However, its importance went beyond the initial stages of the university degree thesis, to represent a basic source for any historical researcher or historian of political party life in modern Syrian history, from the Ottoman constitutional coup in 1908 until 1954. He printed it in a book that represented a basic source for learning about that life, its general characteristics, and its party and association system for researchers in modern Syrian political history.
